Is this for you?

When an online consultation helps most

Five reasons patients reach out — from a second opinion before a big decision to care coordinated across borders.

  • A second opinion before you decide

You've been advised a procedure, an operation or a new treatment, and want an experienced interventional cardiologist to look at it with you before you commit.

  • Your reports, explained

ECGs, echocardiograms, angiograms, CT scans or blood tests — explained in plain words: what they show, what matters and what doesn't.

  • Heart procedures without open surgery

Whether a catheter-based treatment — such as angioplasty and stenting, TAVI or a pacemaker — could be appropriate for you, decided only after your case is properly assessed.

  • A plan made for you

A personal diagnostic and treatment plan built around your condition, your medicines, your other health issues and your goals.

  • Care coordinated end to end

One team to arrange the tests, scans, hospital stay and procedure if you need them — and the follow-up after, at home or abroad.

  • Not for emergencies — with chest pain now, fainting or sudden severe breathlessness, call your local emergency number.

What you can expect

More than a video call — a guided journey

From the moment you send your request to the follow-up after your consultation, one team looks after your case: listening first, reviewing every report, explaining clearly and planning the next step with you.

01

Attentive listening

Time to tell your story in your own words — what you feel, what you've been told and what worries you — before anything is decided.

02

Expert case assessment

Your symptoms, history and records reviewed by a consultant interventional cardiologist, from a structured case summary prepared before you meet.

03

Clear explanations

What your tests show and what they mean for you, in Arabic or English, without jargon — with time for every question.

04

Informed decisions

The benefits, risks and alternatives of each option laid out honestly, so the choice you make is truly yours.

05

Appropriate treatment options

Medicines, further tests, a catheter-based procedure or surgery — recommended only when your assessment shows it suits you.

06

Continuous care

Coordination of what comes next and ongoing follow-up — including after you return home.

How it works

Eight steps, one team beside you

You do the first four from your phone in a few minutes. Dr. Mansour's care team takes it from there.

  1. Step 01About a minute

    Your details

Your full name, WhatsApp number with country code, country, age and gender — so the team knows who you are and how to reach you.

  2. Step 02Voice or text

    Describe your concern

Record a voice message or write down your symptoms, what you've been told so far and what you hope to get from the consultation.

  3. Step 03Optional

    Upload your records

Reports, ECGs, echocardiograms, scans, lab results and prescriptions. Share what you have — it's fine if something is missing.

  4. Step 04Not a booking yet

    Choose preferred days

Pick the days that could suit you and the best time of day in your own time zone. Nothing is booked or paid at this point.

  5. Step 05On WhatsApp

    The team contacts you

Dr. Mansour's care team reaches out to answer your questions, agree a time and confirm your consultation.

  6. Step 06Before you meet

    Your case, prepared

Your records are organised and a structured case summary is prepared, so Dr. Mansour has reviewed your case before the call begins.

  7. Step 07With Dr. Mansour

    Your online consultation

He assesses your case, explains the findings and your options, discusses procedures that may suit you, and builds a personal diagnostic and treatment plan with you.

  8. Step 08Here, then home

    Continuity of care

Tests, scans, hospital arrangements and procedures when indicated are coordinated for you — and follow-up continues, including after you return home.

Helpful to have

Don't have everything? Send what you have — the team will tell you what would help.

  • Your most recent ECGs
  • Echocardiogram report — and the images or video if you have them
  • Angiogram or CT report — with the video files if available
  • Recent blood tests
  • Hospital discharge summaries
  • Your current prescriptions, or a photo of your medicines

An online consultation does not replace an in-person examination when one is needed, and does not mean that a specific procedure is right for you. Treatment and procedure suitability depend on your individual medical assessment.

Honest expectations

What an online consultation can and can't do

It can

  • Review your symptoms, history and records in depth
  • Explain your findings and what they mean for you
  • Discuss appropriate options — medicines, further tests, catheter-based procedures or surgery
  • Give you a personal diagnostic and treatment plan
  • Coordinate the tests, hospital care and follow-up you need

Please keep in mind

  • It doesn't replace a physical examination when one is needed — you may be asked for tests or a clinic visit first
  • Whether any procedure suits you depends on your individual assessment, sometimes after further tests
  • For some conditions, surgery or medicines remain the right choice — and you'll be told so honestly
  • No treatment outcome can be guaranteed, and no one can promise that surgery can always be avoided

Not for emergencies

If you have chest pain now, fainting, sudden severe breathlessness or signs of a stroke, call your local emergency number or go to the nearest emergency department.

After your consultation

Care that continues after the call

An online consultation is often the first step. When your plan calls for more, the same team coordinates it with you.

  • Tests and scans

The investigations your plan calls for, coordinated with you — and reviewed by Dr. Mansour once the results are in.

  • Hospital arrangements

Admission, preparation and paperwork coordinated with a Cairo cardiac centre, so you know what to expect at every step.

  • Procedures when indicated

If a catheter-based procedure is recommended and you choose it, Dr. Mansour performs it and the team guides you through each stage.

  • Follow-up, wherever you live

Ongoing follow-up after your consultation or procedure — including after you return to your home country, when appropriate.

Questions

Before you request a consultation

Is my preferred day a confirmed appointment?

No. The days you choose tell the care team when you're available. The team contacts you on WhatsApp to agree an exact time and confirm your consultation — only then is it booked.

How much does the online consultation cost, and when do I pay?

The consultation fee is 2000 EGP. Sending a request is free; the team confirms the fee and how to pay with you when your consultation is scheduled.

How does the consultation take place?

By video call, at the time agreed with you. The care team explains how to join when they confirm your appointment. Keep your reports and a list of your medicines nearby.

Do I need to upload my reports first?

It helps, but it's optional. Recent ECGs, echo, angiogram or scan reports, lab results and prescriptions let Dr. Mansour prepare properly. If something is missing, the team will tell you what would be useful.

Can an online consultation tell me whether I can avoid surgery?

It can tell you whether a non-surgical, catheter-based option might be appropriate and what would be needed to confirm it. Suitability always depends on your full assessment — sometimes after further tests — and for some patients surgery or medicines remain the better choice. No outcome can be guaranteed.

I live outside Egypt. Can I still consult?

Yes. Enter your WhatsApp number with your country code and choose times in your own time zone. If your plan includes treatment in Egypt, the team can coordinate the tests, hospital stay and procedure with you.

Which languages are consultations held in?

Arabic and English.

Who sees my information?

Your answers, voice message and records are stored in a private medical system and used only by Dr. Mansour's medical and care team to manage your consultation. They are never shared with advertising or analytics platforms.

Can I request a consultation for a family member?

Yes. Enter the patient's own name, age and gender, and the WhatsApp number of whoever will coordinate with the team.

Is this service suitable for emergencies?

No. If you have chest pain now, fainting, sudden severe breathlessness or signs of a stroke, call your local emergency number or go to the nearest emergency department immediately.
